Welcome to Muscatine!!!
The Muscatine Newcomer's Club is a nonprofit club designed to welcome newcomers to our community. All newcomers living in Muscatine and the surrounding area are welcome to join. It doesn't matter the length of time you've lived in Muscatine, you are still welcome.

Relocating is always a challenge. As ''newcomers'', we have all dealt with the trials of house hunting and movers as well as the anguish of leaving behind friends and family.

Your participation in the Newcomer's club will assist you in developing new friendships and inspire you to familiarize yourself with your new community and neighbors. Our lively social activities are geared to initiate you into the community and make you feel comfortable in your new surroundings.

Membership, Dues and Daycare
There is a $20 annual membership fee due at the 1st luncheon. (After January the membership fee is $15.) The cost of the luncheons is $12 and are held at area restaurants and banquet centers around Muscatine each month. We also provide daycare each month at Wesley United Methodist Church, 400 Iowa Ave. The cost for daycare is $7 per child with a cap of $18. Daycare is on a reserved basis, so be sure to reserve your spot. You pay for daycare and your lunch when you arrive at the luncheon.

Luncheons
The newcomer's luncheons are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (Unless otherwise noted) September thru May form 11:30am to 2p.m. Social time begins at 11:30 with lunch being served at 12:00. Following lunch there will be a brief business meeting followed by a short informative and/or entertaining program.

New members may attend their first luncheon with no obligation to join. Once you decide to join, you will then pay your membership dues.

By joining, you will be included on the Evite list for the luncheons each month. And if your not computer savvy, we do still make a few phone calls each month to let you know where the luncheon will be held. You will also then be able to join all the social clubs and extras that we offer for being a member.
